Supporting Education in the Terai: Empowering Students of Palat Tole in Rupandehi

In alignment with our dedication to enhancing quality education and promoting social inclusion under the Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the Bank has partnered with Omsatiya Rural Municipality to support young learners in Rupandehi District. The initiative directly targets the diverse agrarian community of Palat Tole (Ward No. 6), an area where economically vulnerable and marginalized households face significant hurdles in maintaining continuity in their children's formal schooling.

Recognizing that indirect costs like learning materials often present major barriers to education for low-income and indigenous families, the Bank stepped forward with a direct educational aid intervention. Through this initiative, the Bank provided essential school bags and comprehensive stationery kits to children from underprivileged backgrounds in the community. Delivered directly by our local branch team through a community meetup, this support aims to enhance student confidence, reduce the financial strain on farming families and encourage regular school attendance, reinforcing the Bank’s commitment to building a more inclusive educational framework.
