Mental Health and Drug Abuse Awareness Program at Shree Aiselukharka Secondary School

In line with the Bank’s commitment to promoting education and student well-being under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program – Education Pillar, the Bank provided financial support of NPR 30,000/- to Shree Aiselukharka Secondary School, Indrawati Rural Municipality-5, Sindhupalchok for the implementation of a two-day Mental Health and Drug Abuse Awareness Program targeting students of Grades 8 to 12.

The support enabled the school to conduct awareness sessions focused on mental health, emotional well-being, informed decision-making, and the prevention of substance abuse. Through interactive learning activities, the program helped enhance students’ knowledge, confidence, and life skills while creating a more supportive learning environment. The initiative particularly benefited students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and contributed to their overall personal, social, and educational development.
