Kumari Bank Supports Children Under Prisoners Assistance Mission with School Uniforms

Under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Kumari Bank has extended support to Prisoners Assistance Mission (PAM) for the provision of school uniforms to 28 children under its care.

PAM, a non-profit organization based in Nagarjun Municipality-01, Raniban, Kathmandu, supports children of incarcerated individuals by providing shelter, education, care and opportunities for overall development. The support will cover school uniform sets, including coats, shirts, pants and track suits required under the newly implemented dress code at Bal Bikas Madhyamik Bidhyalaya, where all 28 children are currently enrolled.

The support is expected to improve school attendance, enhance the dignity and confidence of the children and foster a greater sense of inclusion and belonging in the school environment. It will also help protect children from cold weather, encourage participation in sports and extracurricular activities and contribute to their overall well-being and development.
