Promoting Inclusive Education: Supporting Underprivileged Students at Shree Janta Madhyamik Bidhyalaya (Prabidhik) in Siraha

In alignment with our dedication to improving quality education, student welfare and social equity under the Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the Bank has partnered with Shree Janta Madhyamik Bidhyalaya (Prabidhik). Located in Golbazar Municipality, Siraha, this long-standing government institution has provided academic and technical education for decades, primarily serving a large student population from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

To foster a disciplined, inclusive learning environment and encourage student participation in both academic and extracurricular activities, the school recently introduced an updated institutional dress code. Recognizing that financial constraints prevent many low-income families from meeting these requirements, the Bank stepped forward with targeted educational aid. Through this initiative, the Bank sponsored comprehensive school uniforms and durable school bags for underprivileged students at the institution. This intervention aims to reduce financial barriers for farming families, boost student confidence, eliminate visible disparities in the classroom and promote regular attendance.
