Promoting Health and Gender Inclusion: Supporting Menstrual Hygiene at Shree Bhanu Bahumukhi Campus in Kanchanpur

In line with our dedication to improving student well-being, promoting gender equality and fostering an inclusive learning environment under the Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the Bank has extended its support to Shree Bhanu Bahumukhi Campus. Located in the remote Dodhara Chandani Municipality of Kanchanpur District, this public campus serves a large student body, including approximately 300 female students coming from surrounding rural and economically disadvantaged families.

Access to essential health and sanitation resources is critical to ensuring that female students can pursue higher education without interruption. To address local gaps in menstrual hygiene management, the Bank supported the campus by providing and installing modern sanitary pad vending machines alongside dedicated eco-friendly disposal units. This health and sanitation intervention aims to minimize school absenteeism during menstrual cycles, preserve a clean campus environment and empower female students to continue their academic journeys with health, safety and dignity.
