In line with our commitment to enhancing quality education, health and hygiene among marginalized communities under the Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the Bank has extended its support to Shree Dalit Uthan Sahmudayak Primary School. Located in Durgabhagawati Rural Municipality, Rautahat District, this government school serves more than 200 students who predominantly come from economically disadvantaged Dalit and marginalized communities, including the Mushar, Muslim and Sudi groups.
Recognizing that a safe learning environment requires both proper health infrastructure and basic educational resources, the Bank stepped in to address the school's urgent needs. Through this initiative, the Bank supported the installation of a modern water purification system to ensure a continuous supply of safe, clean drinking water, shielding students from water-borne illnesses. Additionally, the Bank provided school bags to the students, helping to alleviate the financial burden on their families, promote a sense of dignity and encourage regular school attendance. Through these dual interventions, the Bank aims to foster health, well-being and academic inclusivity for underserved children.
