In alignment with our dedication to environmental sustainability, community welfare and the core principles of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle (3R) under the Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the Bank has partnered with Sukhawati Charity Store. As a pioneering non-profit organization, Sukhawati Charity Store works to divert waste from landfills by collecting reusable household goods, clothing and educational materials, which are then redistributed or sold at highly subsidized, nominal prices to low-income and marginalized individuals.
To help expand the reach of this impactful initiative, the Bank has supported the procurement and installation of dedicated community donation boxes placed at strategic hubs. These collection boxes encourage conscious consumption and civic responsibility by making it easier for public donors to contribute reusable goods. The materials collected through this network directly relieve the financial burden on economically disadvantaged families, generate local green employment and cultivate healthier, cleaner urban spaces across our target regions:
