Modernizing Classrooms in the Far-West: Empowering Six Secondary Schools in Bajura with Smart Digital Learning

In line with our commitment to enhancing quality education, bridging the rural digital divide and promoting technological literacy under the Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the Bank has launched a collaborative digital education project in Gaumul Rural Municipality, Bajura District (Sudurpashchim Province). Organized in close coordination with the local municipal governance framework, this broad-scale intervention directly supports six major public schools across the region:

    • Shree Manakot Secondary School

    • Shree Janajyoti Secondary School

    • Shree Amlish Secondary School

    • Shree Phoolpata Secondary School

    • Shree Kirtichaur Secondary School

    • Shree Balbikas Secondary School

To transition these institutions from traditional teaching methods to modern, interactive digital teaching modalities, the Bank sponsored the procurement and deployment of large-screen, advanced smart classroom television systems for each school. Empowering the local institutions to handle the procurement directly ensures community ownership and proper alignment with regional needs. This technology-driven partnership equips educators with multimedia tools to deliver high-quality, engaging content, opening up a world of digital educational resources for rural and underprivileged youths in Bajura.
