Bank provided financial support to e-nable Nepal in their project to produce 3D prosthetic hands. The organization wants to bring a certain change in the perception of people about children who are born and bred handicapped or those who have lost their arm/hands/limbs due to various reasons.
Their mission is to stay dedicated with providing support to foster independence and improve the quality of life of those children who are handicapped and provide them with utmost care and the service to boost the confidence of the partially abled children to believe in themselves and compete amongst all other children and be given a chance to prove their worth.
The objectives of e-Nable Nepal are:
➢ Produce and manage 3D prosthetic hands for children in Nepal.
➢ Provide services and support which will maximize being independent and improve the quality of life of the children with physical disability.
➢ Advocate for the rights and entitlements of persons with disabilities. Demonstrate our commitment to these rights by always treating those who use our services, and their families, with dignity and respect.
➢ Facilitate to conduct skill development and income generating training to physically disabled children to maximize their independence and improve/sustain quality of life.
