Empowering Remote Communities: Partnering with Lions Club of Kathmandu Aabaddha for Student Welfare in Bajura

In line with our commitment to fostering education and supporting marginalized communities under the Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the Bank has partnered with the Lions Club of Kathmandu Aabaddha. Guided by their mission to enhance literacy and digital learning, the Club focuses on delivering impactful social services to underserved populations across Nepal.

As part of their recent humanitarian project in the remote regions of Bajura District, the Club organized a distribution drive aimed at supporting underprivileged students and women by providing essential items like school supplies and hygiene kits. Recognizing the critical role of education in community development, the Bank extended its support by sponsoring 100 units of school bags for the students. Through this initiative, the Bank aims to reduce barriers to learning, encourage regular school attendance, and empower the next generation in remote areas to pursue their education with dignity.
