Empowering Remote Classrooms: Enhancing Language Education in Sudurpaschim and Karnali Provinces

    Driven by our commitment to upgrading quality education and supporting underserved student populations under the Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the Bank has extended its partnership with Maatri Shikshya. Maatri Shikshya is an innovative non-profit educational organization that designs curriculum-aligned audio-visual learning solutions to increase classroom engagement and simplify complex language learning.

    Students in public schools within remote areas of Sudurpaschim and Karnali provinces often face challenges in mastering the national language curriculum due to a lack of interactive and modern resource tools. To bridge this learning gap and promote educational equity, the Bank supported the deployment of these digital audio-visual learning systems across secondary grades (Grades 8, 9 and 10). This intervention empowers educators and creates a more dynamic learning ecosystem for students across several key institutions:
