KBL and Medanta Hospital tie-up

Kumari Bank Ltd. has launched “Kumari Swastha Jeevan Bachat Khata” a saving account with an objective to promote and aware “saving habit” and “good health” amongst the people. MOU has been signed between Kumari Bank Ltd. and Medanta- the Medicity for business promotion.  As per the MOU, co-branded VISA debit card of Kumari Bank and Medanta Hospital bundled with priority services by the hospital will be provided to the accountholders of Kumari Bank.

As per the understanding, Medanta will put up a separate Information Centre in International Patient Department along with prioritized service in pre-appointment, admission, consultation and follow up. Moreover, while making payments to the hospital through co-branded card, Medanta will offer 5% flat discount in medical services and also provide pick-up & drop facility at Delhi Airport to the accountholders.

Further to this, the accountholders of the product will get medical insurance coverage up to Rs. 10,000/- along with special discounts in locker charges, mobile banking and consumer loans.

Acting CEO of Kumari Bank Ltd., Mr. Rajib Giri and Vice-President, Marketing and COP of Medanta Hospital, Mr. Rajiv Mishra has jointly signed the MOU.

The bank has been providing modern banking services from its 34 branches, 2 extension counters and 40 ATMs all over Nepal; within these 14 years of service. The bank is opening additional 2 new branches in Kalanki and Thali of Kathmandu valley. The deposit and loan was Rs. 31.22 billion and Rs. 26.99 billion respectively in Chaitra End, 2071.
