KBL Declares 20% bonus and right shares

The 7th Annual General meeting of Kumari Bank Limited held on 10 January 2008 in BICC, Kathmandu ,declared 20% bonus shares and 1.05% cash dividend. The meeting also decided to provide 20% right share with the bonus share to the existing share holders. Likewise, for strengthening the capital structure of the bank, the meeting also decided to issue 6% "KBL Bond 2069" worth Rs. 400 million. Mr. Madan Krishna Sharma as an external has also been appointed for fiscal year 2064/2065 by the meeting.

KBL Declares Bonus Shares and Cash Dividend

The 6th Annual General Meeting of Kumari Bank Limited held on 12th March 2007 declared to provide 20% Bonus Share and 1.05% Cash Dividend to cover tax liability on the Bonus Share for the fiscal year ended 2062/63. The meeting also agreed to increase the paid up Capital to Rs. 750 Million from Rs. 625 Million from the Bonus Share. Similarly, Mr. Madan Krishna Sharma was also appointed as an Auditor of the bank for the fiscal year 2063/64.

KBL's new scheme on SAVING ACCOUNTS

Kumari Bank Limited has come up with a brand new scheme for its SAVING ACCOUNT holders. Under the scheme, the bank will provide a two and half storey house located at Guna Co-operative's Reliable Colony at Bhaisepati, Lalitpur. To qualify for this scheme, a minimum deposit of Rs. 25000/- or multiples should be maintained in saving account for which one coupon will be available per month for each Rs. 25000/- One winner, selected from the lucky draw, will be awarded the house at the year end.

Kumari Bank has launched a new e-pay banking service on 1st January 2004, with an aim to facilitate consumers by the latest technology. Now customers of the bank can pay bills of mobile, insurance, school, college etc. through this e-pay service. The press release also states that, "The bank is committed to e-business as a corporate strategy and will continuously develop its knowledge on technology to deliver.

KBL Mobile Banking

Kumari Bank Ltd. (KBL) has launched another banking service 'KBL Mobile Banking for the first time in Nepal. KBL, account holder can receive balance information and mini statement at their own mobile through SMS. Under this scheme, one should have cellular mobile phone and saving accounts with the bank to get alert messages about over withdrawal or deposit or salary transfer. KBL have arranged to send SMS to those customers who want to have this service free of cost.
